Reddit Ads Agency for B2B SaaS, DTC and App Brands
Ads that read like the thread they sit in.
Verticality is a Reddit Ads agency for B2B SaaS,
DTC and app brands.
We run your Reddit ad account for a flat fee from $1,900 a month, never a percentage of your ad spend, and the
same team runs organic Reddit threads, so the ads and the conversation under them are handled together.
B2B SaaS, DTC and app brands that already run Google, Meta or LinkedIn ads and want Reddit to pay its way.
What you get
Subreddit and keyword targeting, Reddit-native creative, Reddit Pixel and Conversions API setup, comment moderation, weekly optimisation and a monthly report.
Price
Management from $1,900 a month, flat and month-to-month, with no setup fee and no percentage of ad spend.
Ad spend goes to Reddit from your own account; we recommend at least $3,000 a month for a conversion test.
How we work
In your ad account, with your pixel and your data. Comments answered by people who know the product. No bots, no bought upvotes, no fake accounts in the comments.
Timeline
Live in about two weeks, including Reddit's ad review. First read at 2–3 weeks; a cost per conversion you can plan on by week 4–8.
Definition first: what you are buying, before anything about us.
What Reddit Ads is, and what a Reddit Ads agency does
Reddit Ads is Reddit's self-serve auction ad platform: you pay per click, per thousand
impressions or per video view to show image, video, carousel, free-form or product ads in Reddit's feeds and inside
conversation threads, targeted by community, interest, keyword and your own audiences. A Reddit Ads agency plans,
builds, runs and measures those campaigns, and on Reddit that also means writing ads people will not mock and
answering the comments under them.
The audience is large and logged in to discuss things: Reddit reported 130.3 million daily active uniques and 514.6
million weekly active uniques in the second quarter of 2026, across more than 100,000 active communities. Most Reddit
ads are bought self-serve in Reddit Ads Manager; premium takeovers go through Reddit's sales team.
Most brands that come to us have already tried Reddit once. These are the four reasons it usually did not work.
Why most Reddit ad tests fail
01
Facebook creative in a forum
A polished lifestyle image with "Shop now" reads as an intrusion on Reddit, and the comments say so.
What we do instead: Write the ad as a useful post first: a finding, a number, a how-to, with the product in the second paragraph.
02
Audiences too broad to learn from
Reddit's automated targeting is switched on by default and treats your communities as suggestions, so a "subreddit test" often becomes a broad one.
What we do instead: One audience per ad group, expansion decided deliberately, communities and keywords taken from the threads your buyers actually read.
03
Comments ignored, or switched off where they mattered
Comments on new ads are off by default. Left on and unanswered, one sceptical reply becomes the top comment; switched off on a launch post, the ad loses the discussion that would have sold it.
What we do instead: Decide per ad, and staff it.
04
A test too small to read, measured by a pixel alone
Five dollars a day cannot exit learning, and a browser pixel alone misses conversions to consent banners and blockers. Reddit itself recommends at least $50 a day per ad group.
What we do instead: Pixel plus Conversions API, deduplicated, and a budget sized to your target cost per conversion (calculator below).
Answer these before anyone spends a dollar, us included.
Is Reddit Ads right for you? Six questions before the first dollar
Five or six yes: worth a test. Three or four: fix the no's first, or start organic. Fewer: we will tell you not to buy Reddit Ads yet.
Good fit
B2B SaaS with an active professional community (developers, IT, accounting, marketing, finance ops); DTC products
people already compare on Reddit (gear, skincare, pets, coffee, home); apps launching into a category with active
subreddits; teams that already run paid search or paid social and can track conversions.
Not a fit yet
Conversion goals on less than about $3,000 a month in ad spend; products that would not survive as an organic
post; brands that need leads this week with no tracking in place; restricted categories (alcohol, gambling,
pharma and others need Reddit's pre-approval through its sales team; some are not allowed at all).
Six deliverables, in the order they happen.
What our Reddit Ads management includes
Research and the community map
The buying questions in your category, the subreddits and keywords where they are discussed, the words buyers use, and the competitors already advertising there. This becomes the targeting plan.
Reddit-native creative and copy
Ads written for Reddit, not resized from Meta or LinkedIn: free-form posts, image, video and carousel ads, each with the proof a commenter will ask for already in the copy.
Campaign build and the test plan
Campaign and ad-group structure, bidding, budgets and a 90-day test plan with the metric, the target and the kill or scale rule for every ad group, written down before launch.
Tracking: Pixel, Conversions API and attribution
Reddit Pixel and Conversions API with deduplication, UTMs that survive your redirects, conversion events wired to your CRM, and the attribution window agreed with you.
Comments, moderation and brand safety
Comment settings per ad, replies from people who know the product, inventory tier, community exclusions and negative keywords set before launch.
Optimisation and reporting
Bids, budgets, communities and creative reviewed every week; a written report each month; a review call every two weeks. The report shows cost per conversion from your CRM, not only from Ads Manager, and how the conversation around your brand on Reddit is moving.

Targeting
Communities (subreddits)
Reaches people who subscribed to, viewed or visited those communities in the last 28 days, wherever they browse on Reddit. Targeting a community does not buy a slot inside it. Reddit recommends at least 15 communities per ad group.
Keywords
Content containing the terms you choose, in the feed and in conversations (English terms only).
Interests
Topics people recently engaged with.
Your audiences
Website retargeting (1–90 days), customer lists (from 1,000 matches), lookalikes, and people who engaged with your ads.
Location, device and time
Country to postal code, device and carrier, hours and days. There is no age targeting.
Automated targeting
On by default; we decide per ad group whether to keep it.
Measurement
Reddit Pixel plus Conversions API (events sent within seven days, deduplicated against the pixel). By default
Reddit counts a conversion up to 28 days after a click and 1 day after a view; 1-day and 7-day click windows are
the alternatives. Apps measure through Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch, Kochava or Singular, and SKAN on iOS.
Brand-lift studies run with Kantar.
The part of Reddit advertising most agencies leave out: how not to get mocked, and what we refuse to do.
Creative rules Redditors accept
1
Write a post, not an ad. The ads that hold up read like a useful post from someone who knows the subject: a finding, a number, a how-to. Free-form ads exist for exactly this.
2
Use the community's own words. We read the threads before we write, and borrow the vocabulary your buyers use, not your category's marketing terms.
3
Put the proof in the copy. Every claim needs its evidence in the ad or in the first reply, because a commenter will ask for it.
4
Decide on comments before launch. On when someone can answer within hours; off for pure retargeting. Under our ads we answer questions and criticism, and remove only spam and abuse, never a complaint.
5
Follow Reddit's ad rules to the letter. No more than half the copy in capitals, no clickbait, a display URL that matches the landing page; restricted categories go through Reddit's pre-approval.
6
Set brand safety before the first impression. Inventory tier, community exclusions and negative keywords.
What we never do
Run bots, buy upvotes, plant fake accounts in the comments under your ads, or post as your employees without disclosure.
How we run a Reddit Ads account: the first 90 days
Week 1
Audit of your account and past tests; community and keyword map; the 90-day test plan with budget, metric and kill or scale rules.
Weeks 1–2
Tracking: Pixel, Conversions API, deduplication, UTMs, conversion events into your CRM.
Week 2
Creative and launch. Reddit reviews new ads, normally within one to two business days.
Weeks 3–4
First read: losing communities and creatives cut, budget moved to what works, comments handled throughout.
Weeks 4–8
Cost per conversion settles. We scale what holds up and stop what does not.
Day 90
Review against the rules agreed in week 1: scale, change or stop.

Reddit Ads and organic threads, run by one team
Ads buy reach this week. Threads earn trust, rank in Google, and are what AI assistants quote. Run by one team, each feeds the other:
Threads test the message before we pay for it. An answer that does well organically becomes the first free-form ad.
Real community posts under your ad. Reddit's Redditor Highlights shows what Redditors say about the topic, with their posts, below the ad; Reddit reports a 10.7% average lift in click-through rate for awareness campaigns.
One voice in the comments. The people who answer under your ads are the people who post, disclosed, in the threads.
Each reaches who the other misses. Ads reach buyers who never open the threads; retargeting reaches thread readers who visited your site.
Ads do not get you into AI answers; threads can. In our own category, Reddit threads made up 11.3% of everything ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews cited across 150 buying questions (our tracker, September 2026).
The most common complaint about Reddit Ads, and usually a measurement problem before it is a traffic problem.
"Reddit charged us for clicks that never showed up in analytics"
Reddit counts a click when someone taps the ad. Your analytics counts a session only when the page loads and the tag
fires. Most of the gap sits between those two moments:
Why Reddit clicks do not appear as analytics sessions, how to check each cause and how to fix it

The page is too slow on mobile, so people leave before the tag loads

Reddit counts conversions up to 28 days after a click and 1 day after a view; analytics usually credits the last click
Compare like with like, with your CRM as the source of truth
We measure the click-to-session match rate in week 1 and report it monthly; until it is healthy, we do not scale.

Reading it honestly: below about $12,700 a month in spend, a 15% fee
with a $1,500 minimum costs less than our starting fee. Above it, the flat fee costs less, and the gap grows with
spend. The bigger difference is the incentive: a percentage fee pays the agency more when you spend more; ours does
not. Above $15,000 a month in spend the scope usually grows too (more markets, more creative), and we quote that,
still as a flat fee.
The two comparison models are fee structures other agencies publish; percentage fees of 10–20% of spend are the
range AI assistants repeat. Totals exclude any setup fees.

B2B SaaS: from a failed $2,000 test to a predictable cost per trial
Before. The in-house team had spent about $2,000 on a Reddit test: LinkedIn creative resized for Reddit, broad interest targeting, comments off. Ads Manager reported clicks, but analytics saw fewer than four in ten of them, and no trial was attributed.
What we did. Pixel plus Conversions API with deduplication, and UTMs fixed behind a redirect. Two ad groups: the accounting and tax-practitioner communities, and keyword targeting on practice-management and tax-season terms. The lead creative was a free-form post by the product lead, rewritten from an organic answer that had already done well in an accounting subreddit, with comments on and answered the same day.
Result. Cost per free trial fell from $310 in weeks 1–3 to $142 in weeks 9–12; 88 trials in 12 weeks. The share of Reddit clicks that reached analytics rose from 38% to 88%. The lead ad drew 140 comments, two removed as spam.

How we report Reddit Ads results
→Cost per conversion and conversions by ad group, community and creative, reconciled with your CRM.
→Click-to-session match rate, so you know the clicks are real visits.
→What the comments say: questions, objections and complaints on each ad, and what we changed because of them.
→Your Reddit footprint: whether threads in your category mention you, and what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews say for your top buying questions, checked at the start and each quarter.
→The next test: what we will cut, keep and try next month, against the 90-day plan.

What we don't promise, and what to ask any Reddit Ads agency
We don't promise:
✕A cost per conversion before the first test has run. We agree the metric and the budget, then report what it shows.
✕Cheaper clicks than LinkedIn or Google. Reddit publishes no CPC benchmarks, and the ranges the market repeats come with no method.
✕That ads will put you in ChatGPT's answers. Ads do not; threads and third-party pages do.
✕Upvotes, the front page, or a viral post.
✕A Reddit partner badge. We do not hold one today (see the FAQ).
Ask any agency:
Show us Reddit Ads results in our category, with spend, dates and cost per conversion.
Who writes the creative? Written for Reddit, or adapted from Meta and LinkedIn?
How do you choose communities and keywords? And do you know that targeting a community is not buying a placement in it?
How will conversions reach our CRM? Pixel and Conversions API, deduplicated.
What is the fee, and is it a percentage of spend? Minimum spend, term and notice period, in writing.
What is the 90-day test plan, and the rule for killing or scaling each ad group?
Who answers the comments, and how fast?
Whose account is it? The ad account, pixel and audiences should be yours from day one.
Are you a Reddit partner? Gold partners are listed in Reddit's partner directory; a Partner badge is not listed, so ask to see it.

Reddit Ads agency FAQ
How much does advertising on Reddit cost?
You set the budget: Reddit is an auction, and Reddit publishes no CPC or CPM benchmarks. Its own guidance is at least $50 a day per ad group, $100 or more a day for the first week of a test, and a daily budget of at least three times your target cost per conversion. The one benchmark that states a method, Refine Labs' B2B awareness campaigns in Q1 2026, put Reddit at $3.11 per click and $9.33 per thousand impressions. Our management fee is separate: from $1,900 a month, flat.
What ad formats does Reddit offer?
Image, video, carousel, free-form, product and Dynamic Product Ads, lead generation, app promotion and AMA ads, all of which can run in the feed and inside conversation threads. Reddit also sells premium takeovers through its sales team, adds Redditor Highlights (real community posts under an ad), and runs automated Max campaigns. The formats table on this page lists each with what it is for.
Can we target specific subreddits?
Yes, but community targeting reaches people who subscribed to, viewed or visited those subreddits in the last 28 days, wherever they browse on Reddit; it does not buy a slot inside the subreddit. To appear inside discussions about your topic, combine keyword targeting with the conversation placement. Reddit recommends at least 15 communities per ad group.
What budget do you recommend to start?
At least $3,000 a month in ad spend for a conversion test, which is Reddit's $100-a-day guidance. If your target cost per conversion is above $33, budget three times that per day per audience, or optimise for an earlier event such as a sign-up instead of a demo. Awareness tests can start lower.
How do you keep ads from getting downvoted?
By writing ads that would hold up as posts: a useful finding or how-to, the community's own words, the proof in the copy, and comments answered within hours by people who know the product. Where nobody can answer, we keep comments off. Downvotes on a promoted post are feedback on the creative, and we change it.
Do you take a percentage of ad spend?
No. Management is a flat fee from $1,900 a month, month-to-month, with no setup fee, and it does not change when your spend does. Ad spend is paid by you to Reddit from your own account. If you already run organic Reddit with us, Reddit Ads add $900 a month.
Reddit Ads or organic Reddit: which should we fund first?
Organic first when your category's buying threads already exist and rank, because that is what buyers and AI assistants read. Ads first when you need a measurable test within weeks, or for a launch. Most brands end up running both; where they do, a typical split is about 70% organic to 30% paid.
How do you measure Reddit Ads results?
With the Reddit Pixel plus Conversions API, deduplicated, conversion events wired to your CRM, and UTMs on every ad. Reddit counts conversions up to 28 days after a click and 1 day after a view by default, so we report Reddit's numbers next to your CRM's and agree up front which one decides.
Are you a Reddit Agency Partner?
No, not today. Reddit's partner badge is earned through certification (at least five Reddit Ads-certified people for agencies serving smaller businesses, 25 for media and independent agencies) or through ad spend at a level Reddit does not publish. Gold partners meet both and are the only ones listed in Reddit's public directory, so ask any agency claiming a badge to show it.
Will Reddit Ads help us get cited in ChatGPT and AI Overviews?
Not directly: AI assistants quote threads and pages, not ads. Ads can help indirectly, by sending people to discussions and by testing the messages that later work organically. If AI visibility is the goal, the organic half does that work.
Do Reddit ads work for B2B lead generation?
They can, when your buyers have an active professional community and you track leads into your CRM. Reddit publishes B2B results such as Chargeblast's 75% lower acquisition cost and Optiml's cost per acquisition 38% under goal. Long sales cycles need offline conversions or CRM stages fed back, or Reddit will look worse than it is.
How long until Reddit Ads show results?
Ads go live in about two weeks, including setup and Reddit's review. You get a first read at 2–3 weeks and a cost per conversion you can plan on by week 4–8; we review the whole test at day 90.
